Depot - Day 2...afternoon

By 1:00, the kids were HOPPING to get into the water. So, after our lunch at the museum, we came back, got changed and took to the waterpark. Oh yeah, kiddie part of the waterpark? A GIANT train. I'm kind of surprised Will's head didn't explode.

As far as Katie and Will go - they are pretty different when it comes to the water. Katie takes a long time to warm up, doesn't like to be splashed or get her face wet unintentionally. Will is pretty much up for anything, and takes things as they come. He is usually the one doing the splashing.

The train had 3 different water slides coming off of it. Will's favorite was the one right in front. He was happy going down on John's or my lap at first. But then he decided that he'd rather just do it himself. :)

Thanks to the life jacket, Katie could swim in the deeper pool so that's where she spent the bulk of her time. John and I would switch off between kids and each took a few turns going down the big waterslide. It was a great waterpark - just the right size for us.

The whole day was just a bit much for some of us. One minute Will was crawling around on the bed...the next, he was asleep.
